We are not just a guesthouse, we are the island experience!
Our Story
When we first stumbled upon this beautiful little property, we were on tour with a group of people from Siem Reap. It was complete circumstance that we wandered past and it was a little crazy to call the owners and start asking serious questions about the potential of taking on a guesthouse in the middle of a worldwide pandemic... And yet, here we are!

What was most attractive to us after living in Cambodia for 4 years was the community in M'Pai Bay. People here gathered together and supported each other, whether they be expats or locals from the village nearby. This was not just an island where you could be anywhere in the world, this was an island that still felt like Cambodia - the country we have loved for so long!
Our Guesthouse
We have a strong environmental focus in our daily operations and are committed to becoming a fully sustainable property. We limit the use of plastics wherever possible, we offer all natural Cambodian-made amenities and we are working towards achieving a garden on the property which will provide key ingredients for our daily tropical breakfasts.
The Azure is about providing our guests with the total Cambodian island experience. Our aim is to provide a service that is true to the heart and soul of this country and the surrounding community. We strive for connection with our guests and with the incredible surroundings that we are lucky enough to be a part of.
